Our Story
Grain was founded in the summer of 2012 by high school friends, Brian Heinlein and Jay Leo. After a chance encounter at a backyard BBQ, Brian and Jay began building a vision for a company that would build furniture and boutique home and garden décor using reclaimed wood. Converting Brian’s garage into a workshop , the duo has begun handcrafting unique, custom furniture with organic detail. Our products are featured at various markets and select retailers throughout the New York area.
